The 25-year-old singer, who has been in hospital battling septicaemia, tweeted this afternoon 'First time I've laughed for a while' after posting a photograph of an advert asking for musicians for a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band on her page.
It's the first time Lily has taken to Twitter since thanking fans for their 'kind messages' after she miscarried the baby she had been expecting with boyfriend Sam Cooper.

And fans quickly rallied round the singer giving her support after the made her reappearance on the social networking site.
One wrote: 'Hope ur doping better! And we're all here cause we love u and wish u the best!'
While another added: 'Be strong Lily! We'll always support you (: love from Argentina.'
It was revealed earlier this month that Lily had been taken to hospital by ambulance after contracting the blood-poisoning condition septicaemia.

Her spokesperson confirmed at the time: 'Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia.
'She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve.
'Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers.'
Lily previously suffered a miscarriage in 2008 when she was dating Ed Simons, a pop star and DJ from the Chemical Brothers.
