'Clothing is the first step to building a character. I hope that what worked for me will work for others.

The 'premium brand' collection will be sold in department stores.

Michael Henry, Stallone's business partner and president of Sly Inc, said: 'Rocky at the end of the day is a love story.'

'While Rambo showcases the other side of masculinity, he's a loner. So the line will offer looks for "the rebel and the gentleman."'

The iconic star held his first sell-out gallery show at Art Basel in Miami in 2009.

Stallone, who paints in his garage in California, explained:'I’m not just painting for painting’s sake. I want to be truthful.' ( dailymail.co.uk )
