Lady Gaga gives birth in her provocative new music video for Born This Way - She is known for her outrageous and over the top styling for her performances.

But Lady Gaga has taken it to another level with her newly released music video for the single Born This Way.

In the provocative and risqué new clip, which is set in outer space, Gaga is seen to give birth to an unknown being, strips off to her underwear for a dance routine and gets dressed up as a skeleton in a suit.

The seven-and-a-half minute video begins with Gaga, 24, floating in space and explaining via voiceover the premise of the story and its extra terrestrial location on G.O.A.T - A Government Owned Alien Territory.

'This is the manifesto of mother monster,' she begins as the movie style music video opens with a two minute music less intro.

'As the wombs numbered and the mitosis of the future began, it was perceived that this infamous moment in life is not temporal, it is eternal. and thus began the the beginning of the new race, a race within the race of humanity, a race which bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom,' she continues as a holographic split screen shows what appears to be Gaga giving birth.

'But on that same day, as the eternal mother hovered in the multiverse, another more terrifying birth took place: the birth of evil,' she continues as the video shows her in blackness and then shooting a machine gun.

'And as she herself split into two, rotating in agony between two ultimate forces, the pendulum of choice began its dance,' Gaga, who's real name is Stefani Germanotta, says.

'It seems easy, you imagine, to gravitate instantly and unwaveringly towards good. But she wondered, how can I protect soothing so perfect without evil?'

Born this way: Gaga flashes a Madonna-esque gap in her front teeth and unusual prosthetic ridges under her skin

The music then begins and you see an astonishingly fit and tanned Gaga wearing just underwear as she walks through a group of dancers.

The singer also has prosthetic ridges on her cheeks and forehead which make her look unusual but striking when paired with her long blonde hair and dramatic smoky eye make up.

She dances alongside a group of scantily clad men and women against a completely black backdrop.

Next you see the Paparazzi singer look more evil dressed in a tuxedo with her face painted like a skeleton.

Aside for the baby pink ponytail she is dressed identically to the male model standing next to her who she starts dancing against.
