And it seems the designer, who is a rail thin size zero, has found herself a new poster girl in the form of one Ms Oprah Winfrey.

The chat show host is the latest celebrity join the Posh fan club, which already includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Lively and Nicole Scherzinger.

She wore the nude dress from Victoria's A/W 2010 collection to Maria Shriver's Women's Conference in Long Beach, California yesterday.

The endorsement from one of America's most powerful women must have come as a huge compliment to Victoria, who was in the audience wearing a red dress from the same collection.

Of her clothing, Victoria, 36, said on The View last month: 'I want to celebrate a woman's curves. I love a woman's body and I want to make women look and feel fantastic.'

And judging by Oprah's sleek and elegant appearance, Posh certainly seemed to have achieved her goal.

The three-day event, hosted by First Lady of California Maria Shriver, invited over 150 influential speakers to give talks to 30,000 guests in Long Beach.

Oprah was honoured with the Minerva Award, which pays tribute to women 'who serve on the front-lines of humanity'.
